Catching up with the Nicaraguan craze of the past ten years, General Cigar Company, the parent company of a number of Cuban-heritage brands including Cohiba, Punch, Partagas, and more, released Cohiba Nicaragua. The blend features a complex recipe of long-fillers cultivated from the rich, volcanic soils of Nicaragua’s key growing regions, while a Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapper leaf finishes the equation with sweet and earthy nuances. Spicy notes of white pepper and dried fruit earned an initial 91-point rating following the cigar’s debut.
